Real Madrid draw up shortlist of Benzema replacements

Real Madrid management are prepared to consider offers for Karim Benzema.

While both president Florentino Perez and coach Zinedine Zidane want the French striker to stay, Benzema is considering his options this summer.

The centre-forward has lucrative offers from abroad, says Don Balon, and could be tempted to move on.

Real management are wary of the interest and have drawn up contingency plans.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund) and Paulo Dybala (Juventus) are under consideration, along with long-term target Robert Lewandowski.

The Bayern Munich striker has long been admired by Perez and there is a feeling he could prove an even better foil than Benzema for Cristiano Ronaldo next season.

However, everything will depend on Benzema and whether he chooses to leave this summer.
